Susana Pomba
Curator and writer

As a curator she was responsible for the exhibition The Painting Workshop Will be Responsible for the Painted Parts of the Set (2019) at Quadrum Gallery; the one night events Old School (2011-2018, 50 events) housed by Teatro Praga; and for the show O dia pela noite (day for night), at Lux Frágil nightclub (2010–2012), all in Lisbon, Portugal. She has collaborated with many art spaces, institutions, and publications, either as a curator, writer, editor, translator, or photographer.  

Currently pursuing a PhD in Modern Literatures, Arts and Cultures at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon. Graduated in Painting (Fine Art, University of Lisbon) with postgraduate studies in Curating (FBAUL/Gulbenkian). Full attendance of post-grad in Edition, Books and New Digital Media (Universidade Católica).

Latest projects: Empty Exhibit Cases, a writing project at maat ext., and “It’s an Ocean”, a Portuguese women artists database, online since 2022.
